Know The Access to Komodo, Labuan Bajo Before You Go

Labuan Bajo has become a booming tourist centre as a fishing village. While travellers don’t spend a ton of time in Labuan Bajo itself, the town is the ideal base for discovering the island of Flores and Komodo National Park.

Go diving in some of the underwater places on earth, hike through the lush green forest to take in tropical perspectives, and then go for a day of island hopping. There are so many things that you can do in this tourist destination. Well, Labuan Bajo is the best place to lay your head after a day of exploring.

The Way to Get to Labuan Bajo

Staying in Bali? It is unbelievably easy to hop over to the island of Flores. There are seven flights per day into Labuan Bajo, Flores from Denpasar, Bali. It takes merely an hour and fifteen minutes to transport from one city to the next, and it is well worth the excursion. The Labuan Bajo Airport is less than a mile out of town. From there, it’s easy to catch a taxi.

Staycation at Labuan Bajo

Le Pirate Resort is the perfect foundation in Labuan Bajo. With a wonderful pool, a rooftop sky pub, live music, an outdoor theatre, and fourteen rooms, this place has been created with the young traveller in mind.

Whether you are visiting island hopping or intending inland adventures, this fashionable hotel is a choice. Le Pirate Resort calls itself an”ECOnomical hotel” and it has a laid-back, effortlessly chic texture.

Take Day Tours

The organic beauty of Flores Island is really unbelievable. There are impressive attractions, such as Indonesia’s Komodo National Park. Arrange your itinerary to spend at least one day exploring the region. There are Komodo day excursions that will take you around Manta Point, Komodo Island, Pink Beach, and Padar Island.

For some vistas, grab your hiking shoes and visit Padar Island for a number. Dive at Manta Point so you can swim with the mantas, then hunt for the world’s biggest lizards, if you like animals. Another must-see is Pink Beach. This shore that is Instagram-ready is home to lush sand.

Go Diving

Whether you’re an entire newbie or a pro diver, you have to go diving in Indonesia. This is the place to get PADI certified. Should you need assistance getting started?

There are day trips for divers of all levels. Learn more about the warm waters off of Komodo Island to see the coral reefs, or dive the more lukewarm southern water to swim with the whales, mantas, along with a gorgeous diversity of bass.

Explore Flores & Mount Kelimutu

The island of Flores is more than simply beauty. You’ll want to check the regions of Flores out too. While often overlooked, the existence of Ende and Maumere is quite impressive. The area of Ende is famous for its ikat weaving, mainly, Ngella’s village is renowned for its textiles.

Doka Village, situated outside Maumere, is just another top spot to take in the Indonesian culture. The village is known for its friendly natives, and travellers research the village to check out the handicrafts. Stick around to find a traditional dance series if you have the chance.

One of my favourite spots in all Indonesia is Mount Kelimutu. That is, and that means you’ll need to take a trip to get there. Come before sunrise to witness the volcanic lakes change colour! It is one!
